Shipping & Delivery

1. Shipping Method

All vending machines sold by Grabbox are shipped from our Brisbane warehouse via palletised commercial freight, due to the size and weight of the machines.

Each machine is shipped as one pallet using heavy freight vehicles and is not delivered via standard courier services.

2. Delivery Types & Placement

Inside Placement – Limited Areas Only

Grabbox offers inside placement of vending machines ONLY in the following areas:

  • Brisbane
  • Gold Coast
  • Sunshine Coast

Inside placement means moving the machine inside the building to a ground-floor location only, provided access is clear and safe.

Inside placement does NOT include:

  • Stairs
  • Lifts
  • Multi-level buildings
  • Tight hallways or restricted access
  • Installation, commissioning, or setup

Any special access requirements must be approved in writing prior to dispatch.

If inside placement cannot be completed due to access restrictions, delivery will revert to curbside placement.

3. Equipment & Access Requirements

  • Hand unloading is not permitted due to weight and safety regulations.
  • Forklift access is recommended where available.
  • Where no forklift is available, tail-lift delivery is used.
  • The delivery site must be ready and accessible on arrival.

4. Delivery Site Conditions

Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery site allows safe and legal truck access.

Delivery vehicles cannot access sites with:

  • Steep slopes
  • Soft ground, gravel, grass, or sand
  • Low-clearance obstacles
  • Narrow streets or restricted access zones

If delivery cannot be completed due to site conditions, additional charges or re-delivery fees may apply and will be passed on to the customer.

5. Waiting Time

  • Deliveries include up to 30 minutes for unloading.
  • Delays caused by site unavailability, access issues, or customer absence may incur waiting-time charges.
  • Any waiting-time fees charged by the carrier will be passed on to the customer.

6. Shipping Prices

Shipping prices shown at checkout are all-inclusive estimates based on:

  • Machine size and weight
  • Distance and freight lane
  • Fuel surcharge
  • Tail-lift delivery
  • GST

Prices are designed to cover standard freight conditions only.

7. Regional & Remote Locations

Some regional or remote locations are serviced by local freight agents.

For these locations:

  • Additional charges may apply, or
  • A custom shipping quote may be required

If actual freight costs exceed the checkout price due to location-specific surcharges, Grabbox will contact the customer before dispatch.

8. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth delivery, customers must ensure:

  • Access: The delivery truck has safe and legal access to the site
  • Attendance: Someone is present to receive and sign for the delivery
  • Readiness: The site is ready for unloading at the scheduled time

If delivery cannot be completed due to customer-related issues, re-delivery fees may apply and will be passed on to the customer.

9. Warehouse Pickup

Customers may choose to collect their machine directly from our warehouse.

Conditions:

  • Pickup must be booked at least 24 hours in advance
  • A suitable vehicle (ute, van, or truck) capable of carrying 200kg+ is required
  • Grabbox staff will assist with forklift loading
  • Securing the load is the driver’s responsibility

10. Damaged or Lost Goods

  • Customers must inspect the machine and packaging before signing the delivery docket
  • Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt
  • Damage must be reported to Grabbox within 24 hours of delivery
  • Failure to report damage immediately may void insurance claims

11. Delivery Timeframes (Estimates Only)

  • Metro areas: 3–7 business days
  • Regional areas: 5–14 business days

Timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to weather, traffic, carrier scheduling, or regional servicing.

12. Carrier Delays & External Factors

Grabbox is not responsible for delivery delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions
  • Traffic incidents
  • Carrier operational issues
  • Industrial action
  • Regional service schedules

13. Customer Acknowledgement

By placing an order, the customer confirms that they:

  • Understand this is palletised freight delivery
  • Have read and accepted this Shipping & Delivery Policy
  • Accept responsibility for access, site readiness, and unloading conditions
